Apart from being an after-dinner legend, Bob “the Cat” is now fast becoming a renowned interviewer and presenter. In June he added Sir John Major to his list of “victims”.
“One of the great double acts” wrote the organiser afterwards.        “Memorable, funny and very insightful.”
Later this month you will see Bob on Sky Sports (to be shown July 26/7) and on British Airways Sports Channel interviewing Alan Shearer, Wolves boss, Mick McCarthy, and former Ipswich stars at the Sir Bobby Robson Memorial Golf Classic in Portugal.
Before that versatile Bob was the speaker at a whole range of events ranging from the CBI Dinner in North Wales, with the Secretary of State for Wales and the Director-General of the CBI, to a football dinner in Essex. Read on......

At the Sir Bobby Robson Golf in Portugal Bob was interviewing, for Sky Sports to be shown July 26/7, Mick McCarthy and Alan Shearer (above) and Ipswich stars Mick Mills, George Burley, Charlie Woods and Russell Osman (below).
An old pals reunion for Bob who was “discovered” at an Ipswich Town dinner in 1979 and all these four were there. They’ve been friends ever since.

Centenary Dinner for Broomfield FC – “Thanks for an excellent evening's entertainment. It was appreciated that you spent time with us rather than rushing in, speaking and then rushing out” emailed John Burdon, Event Manager, Broomfield FC

Among other bookings in the last month Bob has acted as Comedy Auctioneer for the Grange Hotel Group Charity Ball in London and hosted a ladies only charity lunch in Eastbourne. See if you can spot him in the picture below?

COMING UP – Hosting the Kent Excellence in Business Awards, Keston Residents Annual Dinner, Cricket Benefit Dinner, Charity Event in Aberdeen, Golf Dinners in Kent and the Isle of Man, Guest of Honour at Middlesex Wanderers FC, various corporate, football, cricket and golf functions from Devon to Ormskirk and, in the New Year, another tour in Australia.
