After 20 years together Bob “the Cat” and dancer and actress, Laura Collins, are to be married in the Spring of 2012. “I’m including this in the newsletter” said Bob, “because not much else has happened in August!” a traditionally quiet month for entertainers.
Having said that another double act is taking off again. Following their appearance together in June, much enjoyed by both the audience and Sir John, they are doing it all again in October in London.
Bob was on Sky Sports in July, and on British Airways Sports Channel, interviewing Alan Shearer, Wolves boss, Mick McCarthy, and former Ipswich stars at the Sir Bobby Robson Memorial Golf Classic in Portugal.
Before that versatile Bob was the speaker at a whole range of events ranging from the CBI Dinner in North Wales, with the Secretary of State for Wales and the Director-General of the CBI, to a football dinner in Essex.
Following that he presented the Kent Excellence in Business Awards -“You did a fantastic job - really keeping the audience engaged in the sometimes "dry"
