Major and historical Rotary Lunch at the Adelaide Oval where he followed such speakers as HRH Princess Anne, Sir Donald Bradman, Noel Coward, Tommy Trinder (invited, didn't show!), Sir David Attenborough, Sir Malcolm Sargent, The Vienna Boys' Choir, Sir Thomas Beecham, Amy Johnson, Sir Douglas Bader, Neville Cardus, Sir "Plum" Warner and many other top sportsmen and politicians including Sir Anthony Eden. Bob raised $A2,000 for the Aussie Lord’s Taverners.
